Because he believes whole-heartedly in "sharing the stage," Pete has compiled a list of links that visitors to his site might find interesting. Enjoy the personal comments he has included about the artists and venues he especially recommends:

Brant is a very talented singer/songwriter, and an excellent arranger/producer/engineer as well. He's been gigging all over the state, and his latest CD, "Running Out Of Numbers" is great. I've been doing some guitar and keyboard tracks for his new CD, hopefully to be released at the end of summer 2006. Based in the Grand Rapids area, Brant keeps busy doing studio work and performing throughout Michigan. Check him out.

Greg Nagy is an old friend from college who's been doing exceptionally well musically the past year or two; he's produced one of the top jazz releases in the nation this year, from a kickin' organ-based band called "Organissimo", drawing rave reviews from Downbeat Magazine and National Public Radio among others. This, however, is his own blues/roots-based band, and they're awesome. Great fun to see live, and the new CD, "Been A Long Time Coming", is doing exceptionally well. His record label, Big O Records, has been (due to the successes of Organissimo and Root Doctor) receiving national attention, and the new CD is getting raves from Living Blues Magazine and others. Greg's a multi-talented (and obviously very busy) guy. Check out the site.

Drew is a super-talented singer/songwriter from Grand Rapids, who's been enjoying a huge amount of regional and national buzz over his newest CD, "Immigrant Son". He performs mainly in the Grand Rapids and Chicago areas, but ventures north occasionally. His acoustic-based style is unique but completely accessible, and his songwriting is superlative. Check him out.

Duane is one of the most talented guitarists, vocalists and songwriters I've ever heard, let alone had the pleasure and opportunity to play with and to know. Check out his website...I'm guesting on the first CD playing mandolin, accordion and keyboards. Great stuff!

I've known these guys for more than 15 years...northern Michigan local boys, with a great live show and great songs too. They're currently touring all over the country promoting their new CD, but are back in Michigan frequently for shows in TC and elsewhere. Catch a show if you can...they're a helluva lot of fun.

Michelle Chenard has my absolute favorite voice of all the female vocalists I've ever worked with over the years. Really. I can't believe she's here in northern Michigan, and that I get the pleasure of performing with her occasionally. Check out her site and her new CD...great songs, fabulous voice, and amazingly, she's right here in our own backyard. Click here to see some photos of us performing together.

Mike Haring is an old friend who’s not only a talented singer-songwriter, but also a gifted photographer as well. He resides in Big Sky, Montana, and occasionally makes the journey to northern Michigan in the summer and fall for gigs on Mackinac Island. Definitely worth checking out...
www.seanmccourt.com
Sean McCourt is so talented, it hurts me to think about it. An accomplished actor, singer, songwriter, playwrite, bassist and guitarist, Sean lives in New York City with his wife & 2 daughters working mainly as an actor (just saw him on “Law & Order”). He's also the last remaining original cast member of "Wicked", still a smash on Broadway. But, he still stays very active musically, performing, writing and recording. I did a version of his song “Jeanie & Charlie” on my live CD. Check him out.
